Julia Dakova

Originally from Slovakia and now based in New Zealand, Julia’s yoga journey began long before her formal teacher training. What started as a physical practice gradually evolved into a way of living rooted in mindfulness, balance and self-awareness.
Her teaching is inspired by the discipline of Ashtanga Vinyasa while remaining accessible and welcoming. Alongside yoga, Julia has a passion for plant-based nutrition and believes that nourishment, movement and rest all play an important role in supporting wellbeing.
Through her classes, she aims to create a space where students can challenge themselves while also cultivating a deeper connection to their body and breath.
